About Sven

Following a successful career in the sport of cycling, at age 21, Sven moved to the US and evolved into a composer, producer and marketing expert. In 1997, he signed with an Orlando based artistic management firm that created the Backstreet Boys and that discovered Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. While there, Sven trained in all areas of music production, global marketing and merchandising.

Moving on in early 2000 on his own, among the various projects he took on were creation of the official songs of the Paralympics Sydney 2000, Olympic Games 2000 and 2004 (TV coverage), Tour de France and other events. His compositions have been used by Tour de France, including for the grand finals in Paris in 2001, 2002, 2005 - 2010 and 2014, for the Track and Field World Championships at Berlin's Olympic Stadium in 2009 and finals of Soccer World Cup 2010. Sven´s music has also been played during Germany's Reunification Anniversary ceremony in October 2009. In other work, Sven conceptualised the global re-launch of Kraftwerk with "Tour de France Soundtracks", which resulted in the highest sales in the band's history.

Sven's ideas and negotiations for a duet between Madonna and Britney Spears (Jive-Zomba/BMG) resulted in their 2003 collaboration. Sven's media and broadcasting concepts were used by Live 8 (Aid) in 2005. Among many shows, Sven has produced a show titled "Robin Gibb (of Bee Gees) in Concert" in Berlin, where Sven served as executive producer/entertainment. Hired last minute, Sven set a personal record when he arranged the entire show in less than 4 days, bringing in an entire band and philharmonic orchestra.

In 2004 Sven started to work successfully on various projects as marketing advisor and Agent for the former owner of Adidas, Robert Louis-Dreyfus. In 2006 Sven started to work as Agent and marketing advisor for René Angelil and his wife Celine Dion.

Sven had been a competitive cyclist for 11 years, though at the age of 21, he was forced to quit the sport due to injuries sustained in an accident. During the course of his cycling career in the positions road/Sprinter and track/Team pursuit/point racer he won nearly 100 races including several GP's, national championships and international races.

For ten years, Sven has worked in conjunction with the United Nations on various projects.

In 2015 Sven was hired to produce the entertainment section for the lifetime achievement award, honouring Bill & Melinda Gates. For the past 4 years Sven has been focussing on developing two real estate projects in Germany as well as setting up a new sports and entertainment company ready for launch in 2020. He´s currently developing a new band project with international artists focussing on the US, UK, GAS, Japanese, Australian, and Isreali markets. The band is scheduled for launch in spring 2020.
